Nordsee, Nordfriesland, Nordstrand, Pohnshalligkoog - airwatch.de | Die Pohnshallig, eine ehemalige Hallig, wurde durch die Burchardiflut im Jahre 1634 von der Insel Alt-Nordstrand abgerissen. Im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert wurden sukzessive ehemalig besiedelte Landstriche neu bedeicht und die Insel Stück für Stück neu in Richtung Osten ausdehnte. Im Jahr 1924 erfolgte die Eindeichung der Pohnshallig, nachdem die unbewohnte Hallig zeitweise durch die Schobüller zur Heugewinnung genutzt worden war.
